Mahallat

Mahallat is one of Iran’s cities and is located in 262 kilometers southwest of Tehran. It is one of the Markazi province towns. Which is located in southeast of this province. From north, it is limited to Qom and Ashtiyan, from south it is limited to Isfahan and Golpayegan, from west, it is limited to Khomein and Arak, and from east, it is limited to Delijan.

Because of it’s large flower farms, culture, and absent of air pollution, it has been called Iran’s Netherlands, legendary paradis, and flower’s city. Due to flower’s cultivated area, it is the biggest city in Iran which produces ornamental plants and flowers. Also, it is the first which plants different types of flowers in Iran.

Mahallat has different and rich sources of decorative stone mines such asTravertin and Marble which has the best quality in the world.This town has a pleasant weather in spring.

Mahallat’s hot spring is one of the deep hot waters that most of the time they are made out of steam of hot rock paste within the earth’s crust, and reach the surface. Sometimes, depth of these hot water is 120,000 meters and their heat, proportional to depth and the speed of coming up, often will be 100°c.

There is a story from Iran’s ancinant history which tells this town has 1000 years old sycamores and they attract many tourists.
